Handmade Quality:

This hat is part of my Confetti Hat Collection – Long Slouchy Beanies with signature Sparkle & Texture that are the inspiration for my business slogan: It’s A Party On Your Head!® This particular hat was first made in preparation for my first New England Fall Craft Show in October of 2010 in beautiful Vermont. I made about a dozen and wished I had made more! Carefully hand crocheted with a variety of upcycled, recycled, natural (bamboo) & synthetic fibers – each row of the hat is stitched in a different yarn, resulting in a unique textural effect striped in bold colors. The yarns feature ruffles, fur, bobbles & glitter. The colors include Gold, Burnt Orange, Burgundy, Sage Green & Dark Brown. A fluffy brim frames the face and an 18 inch (approx) fringed tail is attached to the hat (which can be easily cut down to a desirable length). Size & Fit:

This hat will fit most adults and many kids (20-25 inch head circumference). The hat will easily stretch for a comfortable fit on larger heads and easily roll at the brim for a smaller, snugger fit. No complicated, time-consuming before prep or after care…this easy-on, easy-off hat is made for spontaneity.

Care:

Due to the variety of yarn texture, the bold colors, & the long fringed tail…machine washing/drying this handmade hat is NOT recommended. Please wash by hand in cold water with soap made for delicates. Rinse gently and air dry flat.
