Handmade Quality:

This hat is part of my Confetti Hat Collection – Long Slouchy Beanies with signature Sparkle & Texture that are the inspiration for my business slogan: It’s A Party On Your Head!® This hat was inspired by a grandmother looking for the quintessential “girly” hat for her tween granddaughter back in 2008. Carefully hand crocheted with a variety of upcycled, recycled, natural (bamboo) and synthetic fibers – each row of the hat is stitched in a different yarn, resulting in a unique textural effect striped with bold colors. The yarns feature ruffles, fur, bobbles & glitter. The colors include Yellow-Gold, Orange, Hot Pink, Lavender, Aqua & Lime Green. A fluffy brim frames the face and an 18 inch (approx) fringed tail is attached to the hat (that can be easily cut to a desirable length). Please refer to the listing pictures for more description.

Size & Fit:

This hat will fit most adults and many kids (20-25 inch head circumference). The hat will easily stretch for a comfortable fit on larger hats and easily roll at the brim for a smaller, snugger fit. No complicated, time-consuming before prep or after care – this easy-on, easy-off hat is made for spontaneity.

Care:

Due to the variety of yarn texture, the bold colors & the long fringed tail; machine washing/drying this handmade hat is NOT recommended. Please wash by hand in cold water with soap made for delicates. Rinse gently and air dry flat.
