HANDMADE & CUSTOM PRODUCTS
Because our hats are handmade and customized for color/theme, customers agree to the following:
Unique Variations: Minor differences in color, stitching, texture and size are natural characteristics of handmade items and are not considered defects. Each hat sold from a product listing will feature the same color scheme, and while very similar (slouchy beanie with texture, sparkle and long fringed tail), will not be exactly the same as any other hat sold under the same category & title.
Custom Yet Available: All hats offered for sale on this website are available for processing and shipping. For our purposes, “custom” means specific colors for a specific theme and not “made to order.”
Ingredients (Fibers): The known fiber content of each hat will be listed on the Care Tag. We use a wide variety of yarns to create your hat in order to feature it’s unique textures. Because we upcycle & recycle some yarns, the fiber content list may not be complete due to the use of cleaned second-hand sources with missing content tags. We avoid fibers used for making items for warmth in cold weather, such as mohair, wool, angora, cashmere and alpaca since the Confetti Hats for sale on this website are designed for use at events involving high energy movement – often during warm weather. Known fibers for hats available on this website include: cotton, acrylics, bamboo, soy and silk.
Sizing Responsibilities: The customer is responsible for reading product descriptions, including information pertaining to hat sizing, before completing a purchase. Our hats are “one size fits most” for most adults and older kids. However, due to factors such as hair thickness, tight curls, dreadlocks and personal preferences we cannot guarantee that “perfect fit”. Please refer to our Returns Policy at the bottom of each website page for information about exchanging your purchased hat for a larger size. We cannot accept returns for smaller hat size exchanges due to the nature of the design and materials.,
ORDERS, PRICING & PAYMENT
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order placed with us. We may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order.
Pricing Changes: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
Payment Authorization: You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at this store. You will be charged in full when you place your order and it is immediate, not at shipping.
Secure Check-Out: Credit Cards or Debit Cards are processed on an SSL protected page. Payments accepted include Credit/Debit Cards VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER and through PayPal. Transactions are in US Dollars only. All completed transactions will be followed by email confirmations and updates regarding processing, delivery and tracking.
Transparency: No subscriptions, accounts, sign-ups are required to complete a purchase. No recurring billing or hidden fees. No email promotions or advertising will be sent from this website.
Sales Tax: Because Holston Mountain Hat Project operates out of the state of Tennessee, orders shipped to Tennessee address will be charged Tennessee Sales Tax.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Processing: Processing (preparing your order for shipping) is usually completed on the next day after the order is placed. However, due to seasonal demand, weather and possible shipping supply delays, we set our Processing Time at 1-3 Business Days (which excludes weekend days and holidays). Your purchase will be confirmed by email soon after completion on the website. A second email will provide you will the estimated day your order is expected to be dropped for shipping.
Shipping: We use USPS Ground Advantage to ship your purchase. Their is no shipping charge to the customer – Insurance & Tracking are included. We ship only within the US. Ground Advantage usually takes 2-5 Business Days for delivery. Once your product is dropped or picked up for shipping, cutomers will be notified by email of the Estimated Date of Delivery and the Tracking Number.
Delays: We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by bad weather, the USPS or incorrect delivery addresses provided by the purchaser.
RETURNS
Because our products available for purchase are handmade and customized with detailed images and descriptions provided on product listing pages, we do not offer monetary refunds for buyer’s remorse. We do offer Exchanges or Replacements for the following reasons: Orders DAMAGED at delivery, orders LOST in shipping and exchange requests for a LARGER SIZE hat. All exchanges or replacements will match the hat originally ordered and are considered “made to order”. Costs for processing and postage of approved returns, exchanges and replacements are the responsibility of Holston Mountain Hat Project. Detailed steps for returns, replacements & exchanges are provided in our Return Policy which can be found at the bottom of each page on this website.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
