SIZING:
All hats available for purchase on this website, are made “one size fits most”- referring to most adults and many kids. Generally, the hats will fit heads with circumference in inches of 20-24. They are designed to stretch and accommodate some larger heads and also have the ability to roll at the brim – resulting in a smaller, snugger fit for some smaller heads. To measure head circumference, use a soft measuring tape and measure around the head just above the ears, with the hair in a natural lie (no pony tails, pig tails, buns). Factors such as hair thickness/curl/wave as well as dread locks will cause a circumference to be larger than a skull with thin hair or without hair. Although a long, slouchy beanie will accommodate most hair styles and qualities, they are not designed to be tam-style hats. While hair can easily be tucked up into the hat because of the slouchy room as well as the length (they are great for stretching over pony tails and buns) – a head of long & thick dreadlocks would work better under the design of an actual Tam. Because these hats are both hand & custom made, replacements are offered only for orders lost during shipping or damaged on delivery. Returns for size adjustments are not available.
FIBERS:
Shoppers are responsible for reviewing the fiber content of the hats for sale on this website before purchasing. Fibers are listed in each hat’s description and on this FIBERS & SIZING POLICY.
Once purchased, each order will be packaged with a “Care & Fiber” Tag attached. The Tag will explain care recommendations and list the fiber content of the hat.
Because our “Confetti Hats” are designed for high energy events, we do not use wool, alpaca, mohair, cashmere or angora in their creation. We do include yarns containing bamboo, silk, cotton, soy and acrylics. Upcycled and recycled yarns are only sourced from cleaned second-hand clothing with labels still attached and legible so we can include their fiber content on our tags.
